Spring Goalkeeper Clinics will be on Monday evenings at Parade Grounds for all Gjøa Travel Soccer players (non-keepers are invited if they have an interest in the position). The club has hired a new GK Coach, Paul Schuttenbelt. Paul played as a goalkeeper in the Netherlands and has been coaching in Ghana, Vietnam and India, where he ran his own football academy (with the English Premier League club West Bromwich Albion and the India Super League team, the Delhi Dynamos). Paul holds several UK coaching licenses and his NSCAA Goalkeeper licenses.

It is important that our goalkeepers receive training to teach them the correct techniques and to truly understand this specialist position. We have decided to move these sessions to a Monday evening making it more accessible to our players. Goalkeepers who are not normally practicing on a Monday will be expected to attend the sessions, this can be in place of one of your regular team practices once confirmed with your coach.
